Business Owner (Provisional)
This visa is for people who are owners or part owners of a
successful business and is under 45 years of age at the time of lodging
the application. You are required to demonstrate that you have had an
overall successful career with significant turnover in their nominated
business for at least two out of the last four years before application.
You must also have at least vocational-level English.
In addition, you must demonstrate that you have
significant business and personal assets of a sufficient net value to
settle in Australia. You will need to prepare a business plan
demonstrating a realistic commitment to establish or participate in a
qualifying business in Australia, and to maintain a substantial
ownership and involvement in the management of that business.
Once you have established your business in
Australia and meet the criteria you can apply for permanent residence.
To be eligible to apply for permanent residence you will need to have
owned your business for at least two years. There are other criteria and
these will be detailed to you once we have assessed you.
If you are over 45 years of age, but less than 55,
you may use sponsorship from State/Territory governments to utilize the
associated benefits of lower financial threshold and past business
history.
Senior Executive (Provisional)
This visa is for senior executive employees who have been
employed in the top three tiers of a major business with a turnover of
AUD$50,000,000 in any two of the last four years before application. You
must be under 45 years of age and have at least vocational-level
English.
Besides satisfying the business turnover level,
you must demonstrate that you have significant business and personal
assets of a sufficient net value to settle in Australia. You will need
to prepare a business plan demonstrating a realistic commitment to
establish or participate in a qualifying business in Australia and to
maintain a substantial ownership and direct and continuous involvement
in the management of that business.
Once you have established your business in
Australia and meet the criteria you can apply for permanent residence.

Investor (Provisional)
This visa category will suit applicant who has an overall
successful record of investment or business activity with a total of at
least three years experience of direct involvement in managing one ore
more qualifying businesses or investments. You must be under 45 years of
age and have at least vocational-level English.
Besides providing evidence of involvement in
managing a business or investment, you must demonstrate that you have
significant business and personal assets of a sufficient net value to
settle in Australia. Prior to visa being granted, you must make a
designated investment of AUD$1,500,000.
You have a realistic commitment to continue to
maintain a business or investment activity in Australia once the
designated investment has matured.
Business Talent
This visa is for high-calibre business people who have sponsorship from
a State/Territory government and must be under 55 years of age unless
exceptional circumstances exist.
In order to qualify for this type of visa, you
have to demonstrate that you have an overall successful business career
and that you hold significant personal and business assets. You are
required to provide evidence of a significant annual turnover of at
least AUD$3,000,000 for at least two of the last four years before
lodging the application.
Besides satisfying the business turnover level,
you must demonstrate that you have significant business and personal
assets of a sufficient net value to settle in Australia. You should also
prepare a business plan demonstrating a realistic commitment to
establish or participate in a qualifying business in Australia and to
maintain a substantial ownership and direct and continuous involvement
in the management of that business.
