ANSWERS:

1. What sort of services do you provide?
We advice all migration matters for clients who wish to reside permanently or temporarily in Australia. This includes preparation, lodgement and management of the migration and visa applications for each of our clients and also guides them through the whole process so that our clients know what is happening.

2. What types of visas are available?
Business Migration, General Skilled Migration, Family Migration, Employer Sponsored Migration and Special Migration are different types of categories which you can apply. These visas provide Temporary and Permanent Residence in Australia.

Once we understand your particular needs and situation, we will determine which visa will give you and your family the best opportunity to begin a new life in Australia.

3. Does Australia practice a discriminatory immigration policy?
No. Australia does not practice a discriminatory immigration policy. Anyone from any country can apply to immigrate to Australia, regardless of his/her ethnic origin, gender, colour or religion. The White Australia Policy was got rid of in the 1950s and since then there have been thousands of immigrants from all over the world arriving in Australia to make it their home. Today Australia is a truly multicultural country accepting immigrants from all corners of the world to contribute to the richness of their land.

4. What is the best time to apply?
The best time to apply is 'NOW'. The migration act and regulations constantly review their policy making it increasingly more difficult to migrate.

5. How do I begin the process of obtaining a visa to Australia?
The first step is to complete our Free Assessment Form. Once we have your details, you will be sent a brief statement regarding the viability of your application for an Australian visa.

6. What if I don't know how to answer a question on the Assessment form?
Ideally, you should fill in the relevant questions to the best of your knowledge. However, if you don't know how to answer a question or two on the Assessment form you may leave blank or contact us by phone or by e-mail and we will guide you through the process. Please note that the more detailed your application, the more accurately we are able to assess your likely success in receiving a visa.

7. Would I be eligible to migrate even if my qualifications and work experience are in different fields?
We will evaluate your case meticulously after your submission of the assessment form to us. Once we have your details, you will be sent a brief statement regarding the feasibility of your application for an Australian visa.

8. How long does it take to process my application?
The time it takes to process an application is dependant upon the complexity of the case. As each individual's situation is different, it is therefore impossible to give a time frame as to when an application for a visa or for permanent residency will be finalized.

Although it is important to note, that there are many factors which can impede the progress of an application. These factors include:

  • incomplete information

  • failure to disclose relevant and important information

However at Aussie Migration Consultancy we will work diligently with you in gaining the best outcome.

9. Can you guarantee that my migration application will be approved?
We will not accept your instructions to proceed with your application unless we are convinced that your application has a good chance of being approved. We will endeavour to ensure that your application is presented in the best way along with a legal submission covering all aspects of the migration regulations and the procedures advice manual PAM3, that the visa officers use.

10. Can I get a refund of the fees paid if my migration application is refused?
In the unfortunate event of a skill assessment or migration applications being rejected or refused, we would not charge our client any further fee quoted at the time of signing an agreement. So you would not incur any further loss. We charge our fee in installments and only when our client clears a stage an invoice is raised for the next stage of the application process. We would not advise you to apply, if your chance of succeeding is not good.

Any fee paid to the skills assessment bodies or the Department of Immigration would not be refunded to you. For more details, you could request for a sample agreement from us.

11. What are your fees?
Our fees are based on the amount of work required to get your application to the stage of being assessed by the Australian Immigration Department. It is difficult to give estimates of the fees involved in finalizing an application, as no two cases are the same. Once we have assessed your situation we will send you a schedule of our service fees.

12. What is your mode of payment?
For Malaysian applicant, we accept direct cash bank-in to our bank account or crossed cheque issued to our company name. For Non-Malaysian applicant, due of security concerns we will only accept payment via a bank draft or telegraphic transfer. You will receive information regarding our payment methods and fee structure after we have assessed your application.

13. What kind of personal privacy do I get?
We take seriously the issue of privacy. That is why we give you the option of emailing, faxing or posting your particulars to us. We will not under any circumstance allow your private and confidential information be handed to a third party, unless that which is required under Australian migration law. Your personal information will not be sold onto other business unless with your prior consent.

14. What sort of assistance we get from you to settle in the new country?
We offer settlement advice for all our clients. This includes information about the job market in Australia, finding accommodation, getting a tax file number, applying for driver's license, preparation of resumes, etc. The whole aim is to make your initial period of settlement in the new country as comfortable as possible.
